Soraya
Soraya is a restaurant born out of experience, shaped by place, and built in the UAE. Founded by Iskandarbek Narzibekov, Soraya took form during a year spent living in Abu Dhabi. Rather than approaching the city as a market, Narzibekov immersed himself in its rhythm, building a life and developing an understanding of its people, its pace, and its evolving dining culture.
Opened in July 2024, Soraya was the first UAE restaurant from the London-born hospitality family behind Bottarga, Zēphyr, Nina, and Lagana. Over the past two years, it has become a firm favourite among Emiratis, UAE residents, and Gulf travellers, known for its charcoal-grilled meats, koobideh, spiced khoresh, fragrant rice dishes, and a warm, contemporary expression of Persian hospitality.
Prepared with utmost care and expertise, succulent skewers of marinated meats and vegetables offer a delightful smoky aroma and irresistible tenderness. Soraya’s all day menu setting introduces charcoal grilled meats and kabobs with each dish retaining the familiarity of a home cooked meal but with our very own twist that paves way for an unforgettable culinary journey.
